Powerloom users have hours left to bridge assets before shutdown

Powerloom users have less than 24 hours to move eligible assets to Ethereum before the network shuts down at 6:00 AM UTC on July 21. For token holders, the risk is simple: once the chain stops, balances still left on Powerloom may become unreachable.

The project said users must withdraw through the official bridge and complete the claim on Ethereum before the cutoff. The bridge is still listed as active, but it only works for liquid balances already available for transfer on Powerloom.

Other recovery routes have already closed. Reward claims, unstaking, and node burns ended when mint.powerloom.network went offline at 6:00 AM UTC on July 16. According to Powerloom, any unclaimed rewards, staked POWER, or node-slot funds that still required those dashboard flows can no longer be recovered.

After shutdown, Powerloom will stop producing blocks. Its contracts and chain state will no longer be accessible, which also breaks the Arbitrum-based bridge because the source chain will no longer be running. Powerloom's ERC-20 POWER token on Ethereum is not part of the shutdown and remains accessible there. The team announced the wind-down on June 15, citing weak demand, limited resources, and no sustainable operating model for the network.
