A portion of ZIG Markets revenue buys ZIG on the open market each month. Half of acquired tokens go to the ecosystem pool, and half go to a validator vote on retirement or ecosystem use.

◆ Why it matters

This adds a standing revenue-to-buyback mechanism, creating recurring market demand for ZIG and giving the token a clearer value-capture link to protocol activity. The re-rate is contained rather than full-force because the buyback size is unspecified and much of the acquired supply can remain in ecosystem use instead of being permanently retired.
