Celo plans to migrate Mainnet from op-geth to op-reth in late July, following the successful Sepolia testnet migration. Infrastructure operators are advised to test their setups with op-reth ahead of the Mainnet transition.

◆ Why it matters

This changes Celo's live execution stack, so it reaches a core part of how the network is valued and followed by active traders. The expected re-rate is contained rather than sweeping, because the update points to a planned migration with testing progress, but the date is still estimated and the value link is mostly through network positioning and execution quality, not an immediate token-level change.
