DXdao launches Omen decentralized prediction market platform

Omen, a decentralized prediction market platform has officially launched. The prediction market offers markets based on cryptocurrency, financial markets, global news, and political elections. Anyone can create prediction markets on the platform which uses Realit.io with Kleros as an arbitrator/oracle to resolve a market’s outcome.

Why it matters: - dxDAO is a community governed organization that funded and organized the product creation and launch of Omen. This displays how DAOs can organize to create products so long as the community supports the decisions. - Prediction markets have long been one of the foundational uses cases for blockchain networks. Omen's model utilizes an automated market maker to match trades and allow users to easily contribute to Uniswap-like liquidity pools.
