3 coins to keep an eye on | Issue #77

Hello everyone!

It was a volatile week for Bitcoin, with the price climbing nearly 25% from its low at $8,106 to its high at $10,079. Despite the rapid climb, last week ended with the bears in control as they pushed the weekly close to $8,729, 2% lower than its open.

The altcoin marketcap also dropped with Bitcoin after starting the week near $82.5 billion and closing near $79 billion.

Theories abound as to Bitcoin's next move - but while we wait, here are three coins with events on CoinMarketCal to keep an eye on during this week.

It's been a flat 2020 for BTT, as price bounced back and forth between 0.00000003 and 0.00000005, with one spike up to 0.00000007.

The price will likely test 0.00000007 again, as it has proven to be a pivotal area. During the last week, the price has dipped several times to 0.00000002 across different exchanges.

These dips provide bulls with an easy entry to take profits in the middle of the range around 0.00000005. Others might hold for a breakout up to 0.00000007 or higher.

This week may offer more chances than usual to enter at the low at 0.00000002 since holders could be selling off BTT after today's airdrop snapshot.

2020 has been a boring year for REP trend followers as the price oscillates between the monthly range high at 0.00229499 and low at 0.00077263 - but range traders can profit.

Last week, the price ran the stops below the low at 0.00111856 before bouncing off the support at the same level. Some might see this as a bullish setup since stop runs into higher timeframe levels often become reversals.

Currently, the price is building up for an attempt at the monthly range mid at 0.00153202. A stab up to the 2019 yearly open at 0.00206990 isn't out of the question.

Aggressive bulls might enter at the current level, anticipating a pump from Friday's app release. More cautious bulls traders could wait for a retest of the 2020 yearly open at 0.00123079 to enter.

New Year's TOMO buyers suffered a nearly 47% drop in recent months - but a reversal may be on the horizon.

Sunday's dramatic candle swept both the high and the low stops, making it likely that a breakout in one direction or the other is coming soon. The price is near the long-term bullish trendline, making it a reasonable area to enter for longer-term investments.

An immediate move to the upside could reach as high as the 2019 yearly open at 0.00007701. In the short term, stops below the low at 0.00003421 might make an appealing target for bears.

However, this move down would likely rebound toward the monthly level at 0.00005779 and 2020 yearly open at 0.00006146. This rebound is even more likely if this Tuesday's Excalibur hardfork creates extra interest in TOMO's chart.

Predictions market platform Augur has announced its new and improved platform will launch July 28th. The upgrade brings about a number of changes such as DAI denominated markets, "Invalid" as a tradeable outcome, and a REP price auction. Token holders will need to manually migrate their REPv1 to REP...

It's been a bloody weekend for Bitcoin bulls as the bears plunged price over 12% - forming most of the week's 13.6% range - and creating a close 6% lower than the weekly open. The area between $7727 and $8000 might give support, creating a consolidation period over the next week and giving altcoins time to stabilize. The a...

After a violent struggle through a nearly 11% range, Bitcoin's weekly candle from last week closed a mere 0.6% above where it started. A 6.4% drop from its open has bulls arguing for a spring setup, while bears may be hoping for a retest before a decline. The altcoin marketcap enjoyed a small climb from its weekly start at...
